What is life in a national law school?
Well when i came here to NLIU, Bhopal after a dropping a year, I thought it will be all about new experiences, intellectual speeches, building up relationships and lots of research work. Well my guess was partially correct , we have lots of things in the campus ranging from sports to culture, studies to moot courts, nescafe to library.. but is it only the pedantic knowledge that you acquire from a college?
I sincerely have a different opinion for that now…
“Controversies make law and law makes controversies” and a law college life is full of these controversial happenings. You figure out mindsets, you handpick your friends, your enemies who figure out what you want. Pampered children of families become civilized adults. The innocent are termed as stupids… the diplomats become the leaders. A blabber mouth apart from gossips presents articulated speeches… your friends become your foes n that’s how u judge your judging skills ..
A college like ours has its own unity in diversity, people from various cultures reside here. Every student has his/ her own predilections but here we learn to overcome them and make a rational statement.
“Law is not an end but a means to end”. I always thought that law is a profession that would equip me to stand for my ideology but now i realize that law is a set pattern of principles decided by the authority and infact we are just the equipments to deliver justice.
thats the change nliu has brought in my perception of law….
This college is all about decision making what to do and what not to. Whether to sit and chat or write a blog whether to study or watch a movie … There in no parental pressure all “peer pressure” guiding your path like a lamp on a lonely scarce road which diverges in to lanes : progress OR failure….
So if u are planning to go to a law college be prepared to face changes in your personality which ll b an intergral part of your life forever…..

Nice analysis of national law schools by experience… this is something new for everyone after they pass out from school. This is where one sees life, (hopefully) learns to live life, (hopefully) learns to understand things/situations/people and where one sees the world (through interaction, internships or other activities)
